Back on May 29, 2015 I published my top reasons for moving to Auburn, I mentioned I would come up with another 5 reasons to move here and enjoy this wonderful area. Well, here we go!
1) Placer Wine Trail: If you love wine then you won’t have to go far to enjoy 19 boutique wineries who participate as part of the Placer County Wine Trail. Click on this link to get a map of all the participating wineries Placer County Wine Trail Map
We have people come from as far as Reno, NV and Sacramento to come to this unique and fun park for our four-legged friends. Its complete with a lawn area, waterfall and lots of seating. That is my dog Rowdy by the way in the waterfall!
4) Unique Artist Community: Wow! Auburn has the most fabulous art community. Some artists that are famous all around the world and others special to our own area. Auburn celebrates our art community regularly with art walks, art and wine festivals, art tours, and an array of galleries. We have a strong support for the artists and a feeling of gratitude that our area inspires them to continue to amaze us! Placer Art Studio Tour . I will be doing a future piece on specific artist. So, watch for it!
5) Terrific Weather: Auburn is located “Above The Fog and Below The Snow”. That saying is Auburn’s claim to fame. I love our seasons. In fact, fall is one of my favorite times of the year. All around us, we are witness to fall colors and in the winter we get the crisp nights and cool days. Summer is hot but not unbearable. We can reach 100+ degrees on several of the day in July and August; but lets face it, we have all kinds of lakes and rivers to jump into if it gets too much. Summer is personally my favorite time of the year. And spring, well who doesn’t love spring. Temperatures are pleasant and we start thawing out. Check out my website for Auburn weather
