Lincoln
In 2006, Lincoln was named an All-America City by the National Civic League. It was the only California city to be named an All-America City that year and only one of 10 cities to receive the prestigious award. It has also been one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. This is partially due to the fact to its proximity to Sacramento, shopping and nearby freeway access.
Lincoln is mostly more flat land which is perfect for farming. Homes on acreage, as well as, suburban developments allows for a variety of options. Since the town has been developing quickly many new parks, schools, and infrastructure have taken place. This give Lincoln a historical feel with a quaint downtown along with modern conveniences.
Lincoln is also home to Thunder Valley Casino which is the only casino in Placer County and Sacramento area.
